What are Blubloxx?

Blubloxx are colorful building blocks that allow children to build, play and discover endlessly. But there's something special about these blocks: they're not just made of plastic.

Every Blubloxx consists of 50% recycled plastic — plastic that is left over during the production of high-quality plastic products.

Instead of this residual material being thrown away, it is given a second life in our country. In this way, together we contribute to less waste, less waste and a cleaner earth.

Blubloxx is a new brand born from a passionate engineer and father who had to deal with plastic scraps in the industry.

The founder of the Blubloxx brand is a specialist in plastics and saw that a lot of plastic residues were lost as waste during the production of b.v. medical products. This high-quality plastic would otherwise be thrown away.

From residual material to play block

It all starts in a factory where high-quality plastic products are made. During that process, there is always some plastic left over — small pieces, trimmings, or material that doesn't fit the exact right shape.

Normally, that residual material would be thrown away or incinerated. But at the Blubloxx factory in Germany, they do things differently.
There, this plastic is collected, melted and transformed into new, sturdy building blocks.

The result? Durable, safe and sturdy Blubloxx, ready to be used by children all over the world.

Playing with a good feeling

When kids play with Blubloxx, they're not just building towers, castles, or rockets — they're also building the future. Each block symbolizes reuse, responsible production and thinking about tomorrow. Parents and schools can talk about sustainability in a fun and tangible way:

And the best part is yet to come: Blubloxx can be recycled again! When the blocks have had their playful years, they can be handed in at Speelblokken XL.

We ensure that the used blocks are neatly collected and returned to our partner factory in Germany. There, they are processed into new raw materials for other plastic products (not single-use plastics) — This is how we close the circle:

Quality, safety and durability:

The blocks are tested and certified according to DIN EN 71. The blubloxx building blocks are made from 50% recycled plastic. The plastic is left over from the production of other plastic products, so sustainability is at its best.

For us, durability means the highest quality, so that the play blocks can still be used years later. The blocks are also secure due to the rounded corners and are very easy to stack and disassemble.

How does it work with handing in the blocks.

As mentioned, the blocks can be returned to Speelblokken XL after years of use or if the quality deteriorates.

- Choice 1: You take care of the return and take care of the shipping costs, in return you get a 10% discount on a new box of BluBloxx.

- Choice 2: We will send you a shipping label at our expense so that you can drop off the package at a DHL service point.

We collect the blocks and will give them to the transporter who will also pick up the new Blubloxx from Germany for us.

The manufacturer will grind them up and reuse them in other sustainable plastic products, so no disposable plastic.
