The work cards that come with it give clues, it is not a full Lego book to build.
The intention is to think about how the best bridge can be built. And then experiment!

In this set some of the most recognizable and world-famous bridge constructions. Includes the Truss, Suspension, Cantilever, Cable and Bascule Bridge.

The parts are delivered in a sturdy box so that everything stays together. There are also 12 work cards where it is explained what each part can be used for. These work cards are supplied in English. So also suitable for bilingual education.
There is a work map of each bridge where hints are given on the basis of a few photos and instructions on how to make a bridge. It's not a cookbook recipe. They have to think about how the bridges should be put together.
It also explains why a bridge is strong or what the advantages of these bridges are. At the end of the work card is an extension where b.v. is a challenge for which the children have to come up with a solution.

Great Catilever Bridge: With a middle section, the challenge here is to make the bridge as long as possible with different pieces of bridge deck and towers.
Longer Cable-stayed bridge: Make a longer cable-stayed bridge with the help of paperclips and rope, but do you also have to make the pillar feet higher?
Making suspension bridges longer: How long can I make a suspension bridge and also strong. How do the cables that hold the bridge work?
Bascule bridges: This bridge works with a counterweight, make a sturdy framework to have enough force to lift a road surface.
